Who is "Aunty Kendra"?
Aunty Kendra is Kendra Wong, a lifelong Kailua resident who spent over 30 years managing a dental office before following her heart (and her sweet tooth) into the kitchen. What started as a COVID-19 side hustle slanging candy on Instagram is now a mission to share the authentic flavors of Hawaiʻi with the world.
Wait, I thought this was Ken’s Korner?
Good eye! We are officially rebranding from Ken’s Korner to Aunty Kendra’s throughout late 2025 and early 2026. It’s the same craveable, handmade sauce and snacks you love, just with a new name that reflects our heart, our history, and our community.
Where is your sauce made?
Every bottle is made right here in Hawaiʻi. We are currently transitioning our production to commercial facilities in Moʻiliʻili and Wahiawa to keep up with your orders!
LI HING SAUCE
What exactly is Li Hing Mui?
Li Hing Mui (loosely meaning “traveling plum”) is a beloved local treat brought to Hawaiʻi by plantation workers. It’s a unique combination of sweet, sour, and salty flavors that tastes like childhood in the islands.
How do I use Aunty Kendra’s Li Hing Sauce?
No more messy powder! Our signature sauce is made for drizzling. It’s the perfect companion for fresh fruit (especially pineapple and mango), gummies, and snacks. It also makes an incredible cocktail mixer for margaritas or a unique glaze for BBQ and meatloaf.

Do you ship to the Mainland?
Yes! We know the Hawaiʻi diaspora and foodies everywhere crave a taste of home, so we ship our sauces and snacks worldwide.
How can I track my order?
Once your order is processed through our Shopify store, you will receive an email with tracking information so you can watch your aloha make its way to your door.
Where can I find your products in person?
View our Events & Markets page. You can find us at various local markets like the Lokahi Market, Wahiawa Market, and seasonal festivals. We are also excited to announce our first retail placement at Tamura’s Wahiawa!
