For over 30 years, I managed a dental office right here in Kailua. Today, I spend my days doing something a little different: covering things in sugar.
What started as a small side hustle with my son has grown into hundreds of markets, over 10,000 treats shared, and a mission to share the authentic flavors of my childhood. As we’ve grown from a driveway pop-up to store shelves at Tamura’s, we realized our name needed to reflect what we’ve become—a family.
Why "Aunty Kendra’s"?
In Hawai‘i, "Aunty" is more than a title; it’s a feeling of warmth, community, and making sure everyone is fed. We are still the same mom-and-son team, but our new name represents the heart we pour into every bottle.
